RDIT Low Voltage & Fiber

Commercial

Commercial low-voltage contracting for South Florida.

Division 27 and 28 scopes for general contractors, property managers, and facility teams. Licensed, insured, and prequalification-ready.

Capabilities

The full low-voltage stack, under one contract.

No coordinating vendors, no gaps between scopes, no finger-pointing when something doesn't work.

Div 27

Structured Cabling

Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber backbone. Horizontal and riser distribution, telecom rooms, racks, ladder rack and cable tray, patch panels, grounding and bonding. Certified testing and as-built documentation on every project.

Div 27

Fiber Optic Infrastructure

Single-mode and multi-mode. Fusion splicing, splice enclosures, building-to-building and campus runs, inside plant and outside plant, conduit and innerduct coordination. OTDR and insertion loss testing with certified reports.

Div 28

Access Control

Card readers, keypads, mobile credentials, electric strikes and mag locks, request-to-exit devices, door position switches, and controller panels.

Certified on Brivo, Lenel, S2, ButterflyMX, 2N, and ZKTeco — including takeover of existing systems.

Div 28

Video Surveillance

IP camera systems, PoE infrastructure, NVR and VMS configuration, coverage design, and remote access setup.

Div 27

AV & Smart Building

Conference room AV, displays, distributed audio, and integration of building systems onto a common network infrastructure.

Service

Remediation & Documentation

MDF and IDF cleanups, cable removal and abatement, re-labeling, port mapping, and as-built documentation for buildings with undocumented infrastructure.

For general contractors

We're set up to be an easy sub.

Our prequalification package is current and includes CPA-prepared financials, three-year EMR, OSHA 300 logs, written safety and HazCom programs, bonding capacity, insurance samples with additional-insured endorsements, and contractor and supplier references.

We bid Division 27 and 28 scopes across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe County. We hit rough-in windows, we show up to coordination meetings, and we close out with complete test documentation — which is usually the part that holds up a project.

Send us the plans. We'll turn a bid around in 48 hours on small commercial and within a week on larger packages.

MBE & SBE certified

Hiring us can count toward your participation goals.

RDIT is a certified Minority Business Enterprise and Small Business Enterprise. On contracts that carry MBE, SBE, or small-business participation requirements, our scope counts toward your commitment — without you having to hand the low-voltage package to someone you have not worked with.

For general contractors

Public and institutional work in South Florida frequently carries participation goals. We are a qualified, certified sub for the Division 27 and 28 scope, which is often the easiest part of a package to allocate toward those goals.

For public agencies

County, municipal, school district, and university buyers can contract our cabling, fiber, access control, and camera scopes directly and capture the certified-vendor credit at the same time.

Documentation

Certification paperwork, license verification, W-9, insurance certificates, and additional-insured endorsements go out the same day you ask for them. No chasing.

For property managers

We'll tell you what's in your closet, whether or not you hire us.

Most commercial buildings in South Florida have a telecom closet nobody has documented in a decade. Unlabeled runs, dead cameras, doors on failed readers, abandoned cable stacked on the tray.

We'll walk your building at no charge and give you a written report on what's there and what's a liability.

For portfolios, we offer maintenance agreements: scheduled inspections of cabling and camera systems, priority emergency response, and discounted repair rates.
